Clear rates, and your price in writing before we start
No teaser rates. Every “from” price is a real minimum total, and we confirm your rate, travel charge and estimated total in writing before the job.
Totals, not teasers
All prices include GST. Every “from” price, estimate and quoted total also includes the travel charge; hourly rates are for the crew and vehicle, and the travel charge is added once per job. No fuel levies, stairs fees or card surcharges.
A rate for each day
Weekdays and Saturdays each have their own rate, so you see the Saturday price before you book, not as a surcharge afterwards.
Confirmed in writing
We confirm your estimated price by SMS, WhatsApp or email before the job, and you pay for the time actually worked. If things on the day don’t match what we agreed, we stop and re-quote before carrying on.

Moving day, sorted
One booking for the move and the jobs after it
When you book a move, the same crew can take beds apart and put them back together, assemble new flat pack and mount the TV at your new place. It’s all part of the same booking, so there’s no second visit to organise.

Each city has two travel zones, measured from the city centre (CBD). Zone A is within 20 km and Zone B is 20 to 40 km. Further out, we quote in writing.

FixMove is operated by Reboot Decorating Pty Ltd (ABN 30 663 037 572), an Australian company. We keep things simple: clear hourly rates in Australian dollars, a written estimate before we start, and nothing to pay until the job is done.

Who comes to your home. One person for man with a van, handyman, painting and garden jobs; two or three for removals, as your written quote says.

Common questions
Do your prices include GST?
Yes. All prices on this site include GST, and every “from” price and estimate already includes the travel charge. Hourly rates are for the crew and vehicle; the travel charge is added once per job.
Is the online estimate a fixed quote?
No. It’s a guide based on typical job times. Send us photos and details and we’ll confirm your estimate in writing before the job, and you pay for the time actually worked. If the job on the day is different from what we agreed, we stop, explain and re-quote before carrying on.
Do Saturdays cost more?
For most jobs, yes. Saturday has its own hourly rate for moves, handyman, painting, plaster and tile jobs, shown before you book rather than added as a surcharge later. Garden jobs cost the same on Saturdays. We don’t take bookings on Sundays or public holidays.
Can you move a power point or put up a ceiling fan?
No. Electrical, plumbing and gas work has to be done by a licensed tradesperson, so we don’t do it. We can mount your TV near an existing power point and tidy the cables into a surface-mounted cover.
How do I get a quote?
Call us, send a message on WhatsApp or SMS, or use our quote form. Photos, both addresses, floor levels and lift access help us give you an accurate price.
